Rail bikes are rented - Skjern-Videbæk railway & Model train club.

The club Videbæk-Skjern Veteran- og Modeljernbane VSV & MJ was founded on 22 December 1998, on the basis of a merger between Videbæk-Skjern Veteran Jernbane (VSVJ) and Vestjyllands Modeljernbane (VJMJ). The clubs merged to bring together common interests for Model Trains and to keep tourism alive by renting rail bikes on the closed railway line between Videbæk and Skjern.

The old station in Herborg houses the club, where you can meet and talk about model trains and build model railways.

VSV & MJ is run by the members and the club’s primary activity is the rental of rail bikes on the disused Skjern-Videbæk railway. In addition to this, the club also aims to build model railway in scale HO 1:87.

The Club is a member of DMJU (Danish Model Railway Union).

If this has caught your interest, come out for a chat and coffee on a club night and see what we do. We meet every Monday and Wednesday from 19 – 21 at the old station on Genforeningsvej in Herborg. Here we build facilities and talk model trains during the winter period. We also maintain the rail bikes and the track. we have fun.
